Graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a major in Art Education/Studio Arts with an emphasis on Drawing and Ceramics and a minor in Art History. Art Teacher at Jewett Middle School and Reedsport High School until relocating to the Portland area. Presently a working ceramic artist with a studio in Canby, Oregon.
$50 per contact hour
$30 per hour for preparation, planning meetings, grant writing, & installation work
Mileage charged after 20 miles outside of Canby, OR.
Plus cost of materials.
$12 per kiln load for firing if your school or organization does not have a kiln.
Programs Available:
*Art History based Art Lessons (one – two sessions)
*Clay Handbuilding sessions (one-three sessions)
*Handmade Tile Mosaic Mirrors (two-three sessions) $300 per mirror, includes all materials.
*School wide Ceramic Artist in Residency programs available.
*Willing to work with school/organization themes, can create lessons around specific art history movements, artists, or cultural themes.
